Standard and custom colours
Ask which colours are available for the selected model and production date. A screen image is not a colour approval sample. Provide the RAL reference or physical sample and identify both roof and underside finishes.
HDP and optional finishes
HDP is GMiSU's standard coating. PVDF is a custom option for projects with particular exposure requirements; confirm the supplier specification and suitability. Do not assume a named resin formulation or fixed lifespan applies to every order.
Approve before production
Custom colours can require additional quantity and lead time. Confirm the actual minimum, sample approval process and batch arrangements in the quotation. Request the applicable maintenance and warranty terms separately.
Colour references for an enquiry
| RAL reference | Colour name |
|---|---|
| RAL 7016 | Anthracite Grey |
| RAL 9003 | Signal White |
| RAL 9002 | Grey White |
| RAL 9005 | Jet Black |
| RAL 9006 | White Aluminium |
Custom colour approval
GMiSU accepts a RAL reference, a Pantone reference or a physical sample for matching. The target for preparing a matched coating sample is seven working days after receipt of the physical reference. Confirm availability and timing for the actual order, then approve the sample before production.
Special colours may require a coating-coil minimum of approximately 2-3 tonnes. Conversion to finished-panel area depends on the skin configuration and order; request the applicable minimum in the quotation. Standard-order lead time is typically 7-15 working days, subject to specification and production confirmation.
PVDF vs polyester coatings and light-colored roofs
GMiSU uses HDP as its standard finish and offers PVDF as a custom option. When comparing PVDF vs polyester aluminum roofing coatings, request the actual system specification, exposure limitations and maintenance requirements. A resin-family name alone does not define the complete coating or its warranty.
Solar reflectance and thermal emittance are different surface properties; a light color or metallic appearance does not establish a measured value. Request data for the actual finish when the roof design relies on those properties. Approve upper and lower colors separately and distinguish color-fading cover from a roof-leakage warranty.
Powder-coated aluminum coil and wood-grain transfer finishes are also available for GMiSU supply inquiries. State whether you need coated coil or finished insulated panels, identify the required alloy and dimensions, and approve a physical color or wood-grain reference. Record the intended top and underside finishes, quantity, exposure and inspection criteria so the quotation covers the requested material and process.
Confirm the right panel and specification with GMiSU.
