In this guide
Product and cutting list
State the preferred model, top and bottom skin specifications and each required length with its sheet count. If the model is not decided, explain the building use and send a dimensioned drawing so alternatives can be discussed.
Finish and accessory list
Specify a colour reference and coating requirement. List ridge caps, edge trims, flashings, gutters and fixings, or request help preparing a schedule from the drawing. State whether samples are needed before approval.
Delivery and timing
Provide the destination port or delivery location, requested trade term, packaging preference and required date. A quotation for factory collection cannot be compared directly with one including freight and additional services.
Project enquiry: an 800-square-metre carport in Kingston
A commercial carport enquiry from Kingston, Jamaica requested approximately 800 square metres of 45 mm insulated aluminum panels, CIF Kingston pricing and production lead time. The follow-up establishes cut lengths, skin configuration, exposure, support information and accessory scope before the order can be defined.
Four follow-up questions
- 01
Cut lengths and geometry
Send each slope length, sheet count or dimensioned roof layout.
- 02
Material configuration
Confirm top and bottom BMT, colour and HDP or requested custom coating.
- 03
Project conditions
Provide the support spacing, frame material and applicable project loading requirements.
- 04
Accessory scope
Identify end caps, flashings, gutters and profile-compatible fixing requirements.
Finish the enquiry
Add the destination port, packaging preference and target delivery date. GMiSU can then prepare the proposed cutting list, packing arrangement and quotation. Final engineering approval and installation responsibilities should be defined separately from the material quotation.

GMiSU's minimum order is 500 linear meters. Confirm whether your requested combination of profiles, finishes and lengths can be supplied together. Mark any deviation from the requested specification before comparing prices. Add current freight, insurance, duties, destination handling and local transport according to the agreed commercial arrangement; do not assume these are included in a factory quotation.
Confirm the right panel and specification with GMiSU.
Send your drawings, dimensions, quantity, color, destination and target schedule for project-based recommendations.
