Start with the source

Read the original stamped report reproduced on the website. Match its sample description and construction to the material being proposed. The original report takes precedence over an abbreviated sales summary or a copied report number.

Interpret the result within scope

A reaction-to-fire classification describes performance under its test conditions. It is not a guarantee that a roof cannot burn, will not contribute to a fire, or provides a particular duration of fire resistance. Do not extend a sample result to every thickness or custom core without supporting documentation.

Check project acceptance

Ask the project designer whether the test standard and classification satisfy the destination's requirements. Request the complete report for review. A small flame demonstration is not a substitute for the formal test.

Match fire documentation to the ordered roof panel

A management-system certificate, material test, product classification and roof-assembly assessment serve different purposes. For a PU insulated aluminum roof panel fire report, compare the sample's core, dimensions, skins, finish, joints and installation conditions with the proposed configuration.

Record the report version accepted by the responsible project reviewer. Changes to a core formulation or construction require a scope review rather than assuming the previous classification carries over. Do not describe a panel as universally fireproof or convert a reaction-to-fire classification into a fire-resistance duration.
